"I found I could say things with colours and shapes that I couldn't say any other way — the things I had no words for."
— Georgia O'Keeffe
About Me
Hi, I’m Aoife.
I’ve always been drawn to creative work that communicates visually the kind of work that can say something without needing many words. That idea is part of what led me to study Games Production and 3D Graphics at BCFE, where I’m currently learning to create 3D models, environments and digital assets using tools like Maya and Unity.
Before moving into 3D, I completed a Diploma in Graphic Design, which gave me a strong foundation in visual storytelling and design through the Adobe Suite. That background still influences how I approach my work today. I think a lot about colour, composition and atmosphere as ways to communicate my ideas and emotion.
Alongside my creative work, I have over eight years of experience working with people, including leadership and management roles. These experiences helped me develop strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills, which are just as important in collaborative creative environments as technical ability.
Right now I’m focused on building my portfolio and continuing to develop as a 3D artist, with the goal of contributing to creative projects in the games and digital media industry.
More about me
I’m happiest when I’m creating something new, figuring out how something works, or solving a problem I didn’t know I’d enjoy solving.
