Alice: Madness Returns is a horror game created by American McGee. The game was released in 2011 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. It's a sequel game to American McGee’s Alice, a 2000s game. There was going to be a sequel to Alice: Madness Returns called Alice Asylum, but when American McGee gave the EA team the design bible, they cancelled it and refused to sell the rights to the game to McGee. Nothing new is currently happening in the Alice franchise. Though there are fans that are recreating some chapters from the design bible as American Mcgee published it for the public to be able to view.
