Absolutely — you're welcome to bring a packed lunch and non-alcoholic drinks. We have plenty of picnic areas dotted around the park where families can relax and eat. Glass containers are not permitted for safety reasons. Alcohol brought from outside the park is not permitted.
The park remains open in most weather conditions — Ireland's weather adds character! Some outdoor attractions may be temporarily suspended in high winds or lightning. We have covered areas throughout the park and a number of indoor exhibits. Tickets are non-refundable for weather, but can be rescheduled if there's an official closure.
Yes, certain thrill rides have minimum height requirements for safety. The Emerald Express requires a minimum height of 1.4m. Height requirements are clearly displayed at each ride entrance. We have a wide selection of family-friendly and junior rides with no height restrictions, so there's always something for every age and size.
